Volunteer Opportunities
The Denton Black Chamber of Commerce serves as a clearing house, referral service, and a small business initiation tool to better equip and inform its members of current business opportunities. The chamber also promotes its members' products and services and provides networking mixers to keep its members and their businesses in the public eye.
VOLUNTEERING AT MAJOR EVENTS IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN EXPOSURE FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!
*Below are a few volunteer roles we'll be assigning*
VIP HOSTS
These volunteers would be available to assist our VIP guests as needed. Acting as a HOST of sorts, these volunteers will be responsible for making the VIP feel like VIP's.
TALENT HOST
The volunteers would be responsible for making sure musical talent is in the right place at the right time. In addition to this responsibility, talent hosts will help manage the "Selfie w/ band" opportunity, happening under the talent tent.
Friends of the DBCOC
These volunteers would be responsible for manning the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce "Welcome" tent, manage the chamber scavenger hunt, and the membership drive initiative, among other responsibilities.
Vendor Host
The volunteers in this area would be responsible for making sure vendors are in the right place and abiding by the guidelines they agreed to. They are also the vendors 1st point of contact during the event. They are liaisons between committee members and vendors to answer basic questions and handle minor issues.
