2019 22nd Annual Banquet

Saturday, March 2, 2019
6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
The University of North Texas
Gateway Center

Saturday March 2, 2019
The Denton Black Chamber of Commerce

Our theme this year will be “Reintroducing our Young People to the Construction Business.”  Because of the unprecedented shortage of African-Americans in the trades and owning Construction Businesses, we felt the need to begin the dialogue and the conversation.

We invite you to renew your membership with us for the coming year and hope that you are able to include us in your annual budget again

Guest Speaker

Denton Police Chief

Frank Dixon

Police Chief Frank Dixon will speak to this year’s Banquet audience about the pillars of a great community: education and training, jobs, and employment, safety, and order, and civic minded leadership that works to make the community the best it can be for all its citizens.  When all these pillars are in place and vibrant, policing is easy, but when all of the pillars are not there, the job of police work is not so easy. Chief Dixon will help us to understand his perspective on the work to be done here in our great city.
